What size rear shock does my Harley need?

Each Harley mount is different - depending on your weight and height, and the ride height of your bike. We offer 12" to 16" shocks - most Touring riders choose our 13" Remote Reservoir Shock. Contact us for exactly what you need in any case.

Dual-adjustable vs. Remote Reservoir shocks - which is better?

Our Dual-Adjustable shocks let you tune preload and ride height to your liking, often without taking the shock off the bike. Remote Reservoir adds a separate oil chamber for consistent damping under heat and hard riding. Many riders run remote-reservoir for spirited/two-up touring.

Will lowering my ride height hurt the ride?

Not with a properly valved shock - our adjustable shocks lower stance while keeping travel and damping usable, so you don't bottom out. Our shock shafts have a rubber O-ring that will mark your travel after riding.

Are Nowaskey shocks made in the United States?

Yes - made in the USA and backed by a lifetime warranty.

Can I install the shocks myself?

Yes - Nowaskey is proud to offer easy-to-install suspension systems. These shocks are a bolt-on install. Most riders only need basic tools and a free afternoon to complete the job.
