Legacy Gas Tanks

The Drag Specialties Legacy Gas Tank lineup delivers classic custom styling with durable steel construction and straightforward bolt-on installation for Harley-Davidson Sportster models. Built from deep-drawn steel with precision TIG-welded seams, each 3-gallon tank offers long-lasting performance and a clean, timeless look ideal for custom builds or direct replacement applications. All tanks feature a raw steel finish, allowing complete customization prior to paint.

Select your option by year:

• Fuel-Injected Version (2007-Up Models) – Designed to accept 2007-up OEM fuel pumps and fittings for seamless integration with late-model EFI Sportster models. Installs using stock mounting locations and includes necessary mounting hardware.

• Carbureted Version – Left-Hand Outlet (22 mm Petcock) – Designed for carbureted Sportster models with a left-hand fuel outlet and 22 mm petcock opening. Uses stock mounts and includes mounting hardware for simplified installation.

• Carbureted Version – Dual Outlet (Left & Right) – Features both left-hand and right-hand fuel tank outlets for flexible fuel routing. Includes a steel block-off cap for unused outlet. Installs using stock mounting locations and includes mounting hardware.

All tanks ship unpainted. Tanks must be test-fitted, pressure tested, and properly sealed before painting to ensure proper performance and long-term reliability.
