The Pete Nowaskey Story

When I started my cycle shop in 2004, I had no idea what to name it. My dad suggested "Pistol Pete's." Honestly, I didn't care what the name was; I wanted to build high-performance motors and work on custom Harley Davidsons. Over the years, I'm fortunate to have built a reputation with my customers and peers in the performance industry. It has created a lot of personal and professional growth for me.

A new chapter starts

With growth comes change, and I’ve decided to make two significant changes to my business. The first is the name change from Pistol Pete’s to Nowaskey Extreme Performance. I believe that every Harley-Davidson® Motorcycle that leaves my shop has my name on it, so changing it to my last name makes the most sense.

Nowaskey Suspension starts

The second chapter of my story is the announcement of the launch of Nowaskey Performance Products, with the first being a line of remote reservoir and dual adjustable shocks.

Lets Go Racing

With over 25 years of experience in crafting custom motorcycles and enhancing performance Harley-Davidsons, Pete Nowaskey and the Nowaskey Extreme Performance team felt it was time to take their expertise to the racetrack. Recognizing a new challenge and opportunity, they formed a race team to compete in the prestigious King of the Baggers race series. This decision marked a significant milestone for Nowaskey Extreme Performance. The team meticulously designed and built a competitive race bike specifically tailored for the series, showcasing their commitment to innovation and high performance.

Participating in the King of the Baggers series has proven to be more than just a racing venture; it has been an invaluable learning experience for Pete Nowaskey and his team.
